DIVEMASTER COURSE INDONESIA TEKKI SPECIALTIES
Drift Diving
This specialty will allow you to expertly maneuver the currents! Without a doubt, this is a great one to pick up, especially here in our waters. Furthermore, we have a number of fantastic drift dive sites. Mangrove, SD, PED, Sental, and Buyuk are all sites that will have you racing along the coral reef.
Self-Reliant Diver
This is an incredibly valuable specialty. Scuba diving is usually done with a buddy. Nevertheless, it is not uncommon to find yourself alone in certain situations. The Self-Reliant Diver specialty will teach you how to be a more independent diver. Furthermore, you’ll go through certain scenarios and skills. Additionally, this includes the use of a redundant air source, swimming without a mask, and proper usage of a surface marker buoy.
*the Self Reliant specialty is for those who have 100 dives. If you do not yet have 100 dives then you may accrue them over the course of your internship
Deep Diver
Going deeper can be exciting and hold untold mysteries! Whether it be exploring a wreck, or further down a wall, there is always something more to see. This specialty will certify you to 40 meters. We’ll go over deep dive planning, dealing with your gas supply, the effects of narcosis. Additionally, there will also be special buddy procedures.
Sidemount Diver
Diving with two tanks on your side can hold many benefits. Firstly, having two independent air sources gives you an added layer of safety. Moreover, this kind of set up allows you to more easily access cramped overhead spaces. Additionally, this is perfect for those who want to venture into tech and/or cave diving. Lastly, it will also put a lot less stress on your back – allowing you to be more streamlined as well.
Nitrox Diver
This specialty will certify you to dive with Enriched Air. Likewise many other of our training, this course is done online in just 2 hours’ time. Yet, it happens to be the most popular specialty around the world! Subsequently, diving with Enriched Air will allow you to dive at deeper depths for a longer amount of time. Therefore, it makes your dives safer.
While you will enjoy those benefits, what’s best than having the thrill of meeting a Mola-mola? Unless you are keener for some Manta rays encounter! Well, lucky you, we have a very unique chance to have them both in our marine sanctuary. Furthermore, there are special considerations that we will go over during the course.
