WHO CAN SIGN UP PADI RESCUE COURSE LEMBONGAN?
WHAT IS INVOLVED PADI RESCUE COURSE LEMBONGAN?
The Padi Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, both minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During your theory section, you will further understand the psychological aspects of an emergency. This will give you the right mentality during a rescue. Furthermore, you’ll go over all the practicalities of an emergency situation. Moreover, you will learn to treat injuries such as stings using first aid. Additionally, you will gain a better understanding of decompression illness.
During the practical section, you will be able to apply what you have learned in the theory. We will conduct skills either in confined water or open water. Firstly, you will conduct several self-rescue skills. You’ll then transfer some rescue skills onto your fellow divers. Learn to recognize and deal with different signs of diver stress. Next, you will utilize navigation skills to rescue a missing diver.
Afterward, you’ll learn to administer emergency oxygen and other equipment. Lastly, you will complete the final task of surfacing with an unresponsive diver. You will take them to land and administer rescue breaths. You will definitely feel accomplished after a challenging task like this!
For you to gain your certification you will need to spend 3 days with us at the beautiful and relaxed island of Lembongan. If you are taking the EFR + Rescue Combo package then you will need to add 1 more day for the EFR Course.
Course Schedule
On the first day, you will begin by watching a DVD that covers the five sections of the course while completing the five knowledge development questions. You can actually save some time by completing this section at home with the Rescue Diver Online – PADI’s eLearning option. Our Professional Padi Instructors will review with you the knowledge development sections at the end of the day.
On the second day, you will start the confined water practice with self-rescue and rescue skills. At this stage, your Padi Instructor will demonstrate the proper techniques and have you practice them over and over until you master them. You will go through all the techniques and progressively start putting them together. You will also learn some rescue techniques outside the water as well as taking your final exam and start preparing your emergency plan.
On your last day, you will have to demonstrate the techniques you have learned in open water and participate in several rescue scenarios. These scenarios will be made to recreate real-life emergencies with the stress that is involved in them. You will be pushed to your limits, learn to manage and overcome your emotions, and put out the best of yourself. Overall, topics will include self-rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, emergency equipment management, as well as rescuing panicked or unresponsive divers.

PADI Rescue Course Lembongan E-Learning
Registering for PADI’s eLearning is a very good idea for the Rescue Course. You’ll be able to get through the five knowledge development sections before you even start your holiday! This means you’ll get to the action as soon as possible. PADI has a number of interactive interfaces that make learning fun and easy. Furthermore, you will get a permanent download of the Rescue Diver Manual so you can look it over anytime you would like.
Starting your theory at our dive center is a good option as well. As an Eco Dive center, we aim to reduce the use of paper in our facilities and we do all the courses Digitally. We will provide you with a Tablet so you can create your PADI Account and sign the necessary documentation online.
Your Padi account will give you access to your online manual. You can access it anywhere from your tablets to your smartphone. In order to gain access to all this, you will need to have an email, and it’s best if you can bring your own Phone or Tablet so you can complete the self-study in your own time.

Some divers may feel apprehensive about taking the Rescue Course. It is definitely a big step from your Advanced, but totally doable. At the end of the day, it’s totally up to you. Your instructors will not push you to do anything you’re not comfortable with. Some may recommend at least 30 dives, while others may say 50. Just make sure you go at your own pace!
Being comfortable with your own diving abilities is the most important thing. As a Rescue Diver, you may be responsible for someone else. This means you definitely should not be stressed out in normal diving situations. Next, you should have good buoyancy. You will need to control you and your victim’s buoyancy. You may want to take the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty to refine your skills. Overall, a little nervousness is okay. You’ll feel more accomplished when you officially become a Rescue Diver!
