To confirm an online or walk-in booking, a minimum deposit of 40% per person is required. However, courses will be asked to make a 50% deposit when signing up. Bookings cannot be guaranteed until this deposit is received, and we reserve the right to release bookings without deposit confirmation. Additionally, failure to comply with our Terms and Conditions may result in booking cancellations. Changes to booking dates can be made after deposit payment, subject to availability. On the day prior to your scheduled activities, we will request the remaining balance, as total payment must be completed 24 hours before the planned activity.
We offer Instapay as a secure credit card payment option. A 3% transaction fee applies, and only Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX cards are accepted. To use Instapay, we will send an e-invoice featuring a “”Pay Now”” button for secure online payment to our account. Once payment is completed, we will receive an automatic notification, and you will receive a confirmation email for your booking.
For settling balances, beverages, additional dives, etc., during your stay, we accept the following payment methods: Cash – Following Indonesian regulations, all cash transactions must be conducted in the local currency, Rupiah (IDR). Utilizing local currency is the most economical payment option. Furthermore, we provide a safe for securing cash and other valuables if necessary, while you are here. Credit cards – We accept Visa and Mastercard only, and these transactions are subject to a credit card fee. Credit Card Advisory – It is advisable to inform your card issuer that you will be traveling and using your card in Indonesia. We have encountered instances where guests’ cards were inoperative due to their card issuer blocking international payments for security purposes.
Cancellation Policy Diving (and/or snorkeling) trips and certification courses may be cancelled or rescheduled due to the weather conditions that are not suitable for marine sports activities, such as high waves and strong winds. Dive sites are picked daily based on weather and ocean conditions, and your safety and the safety of our staff are paramount in our operation. If your requested dive site is unavailable due to weather, we will do our best to find a suitable alternative for you. Our diving instructors / dive masters / boat captain make decisions about the selection of the dive sites and/or cancellation of the diving trips. Refund Policy Refunds will be offered in the following circumstances: • If Legend Diving cancels due to weather conditions or mechanical reasons, and the boat cannot leave port. • Cancellations made prior to 24 hours of the scheduled activity. In the following circumstances, refunds cannot be offered: • You decide not to finish the course for anything other than medical reasons • During the journey, we cannot reach the designated dive site either due to weather conditions or mechanical reasons, but we choose another suitable dive site • If the dive has to end before the scheduled time due to a change in the diving conditions or diving group safety • If you choose not to do one of the scheduled dives Full payment will be required for no-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of departure time.
Divers using rented equipment are responsible for that equipment and will be charged for any loss or damage, howsoever caused. The price charged will be the full amount for the equipment if lost or the cost to repair it if damaged. Neither Legend Diving, its employees, nor its contractors can be held responsible for damage to or loss of any personal equipment caused prior to, during, or after any diving activities.
Privacy is important. We ensure our customers that any data collected during the payment process and the course will not be used for any other purpose. The data will also not be disclosed to any third party other than those directly involved in the payment and email processes. If you have any other concerns or questions regarding our policies, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Company Insurance Limitations Our dive center holds standard third-party public liability insurance in accordance with Indonesian Tourism Law (UU No. 10/2009). Please be advised that this mandatory legal coverage strictly covers boat-related accidents only. It does not cover specialized scuba diving medical emergencies, decompression sickness (DCS), hyperbaric chamber treatments, or any accidents resulting from equipment faults or malfunctions (including both rental and personal gear). Mandatory Personal Dive Insurance Because of these limitations, we strongly recommended that all divers possess personal medical insurance that explicitly covers scuba diving accidents. DAN (Divers Alert Network) coverage is highly preferred and recommended. Direct Short-Term Insurance Option If you do not hold an active annual policy, short-term dive insurance can be purchased directly through us at a very reasonable cost prior to your first dive. This will provide you with the immediate, essential medical coverage required for your trip. Diver Responsibility & Financial Liability If you choose to dive without a dedicated personal dive insurance policy, you do so entirely at your own risk. In the event of an accident, you will be solely and entirely responsible for all costs incurred, including but not limited to: • Medical treatments and hospital charges • Hyperbaric chamber sessions • Emergency evacuation procedures (sea or air ambulance) • Any other related medical expenses Emergency Assistance & Limitation of Liability Should an accident occur, our team will provide all reasonable logistical assistance and first-aid care within our capability. However, our dive center, its staff, and its affiliates will not be held accountable, legally liable, or responsible for any financial losses, medical bills, damages, or injuries sustained during the activity.
