Padi Open Water Diver course Nusa Lembongan in three main phases:
We are proud to be an eco-friendly dive center. Meaning our company has gone completely paperless. You will receive a tablet on arrival and be given an online manual. Additionally, we will show you how to create a PADI account and sign the necessary documentation, which can also be accessed on your own private devices.
COURSE SCHEDULE
The PADI Open Water Lembongan Course is done over 3.5 days but can be fit into 3 days if necessary. However, it is recommended that you take the extra half day so that nothing is rushed.
Day 1
Welcome to Legend Diving. Today, you will watch some instructional videos while completing knowledge reviews in your e-manual. This section is largely self-study. You can do it either at the shop or with your own device if you have one. Obviously, we’ll also help you create your PADI account for access to learning materials. At any time, if you have any questions you can ask your instructor.
Once your reviews are done, together you will take some time to revise it and acknowledge if you need further explanations. With this in mind, you will go through your quizzes and make sure that your global understanding is correct.
Day 2
You will work with your instructor today on more practical aspects of the course. Firstly, you will be briefed on the equipment and learn how to set it up yourself. Additionally, you’ll participate in Confined Water sessions in the pool. This is where you will learn to breathe underwater and demonstrate some skills. Furthermore, you will get comfortable with the gear. Some of the skills you will learn are:
- Scuba gear set up
- Getting rid of water in your mask
- Entry and exit techniques
- Buoyancy control
- Basic navigation underwater
- Safety procedures
The pool section will take approximately half a day. The rest of the day will be spent continuing with the theory.
Day 3
Today is a big day! You will do your first 2 ocean dives. Firstly, you’ll meet your instructor in the morning for a briefing. You will go over what should be expected to help you solidify your learning so far. In addition, these dives will go no further than 12 meters. They will be done in dive sites suitable for training. Afterward, we will return to the dive center and finish the remaining theory or confined session.
Day 3,5
This is the last day of your course. You will do 2 more dives to a max depth of 18 meters. The dive sites chosen will always take your training in mind. You will likely get the chance to see some majestic Manta rays! Although they are training dives, you are sure to see lots of marine life. You should be done by lunchtime. Straightaway, you can continue your education with a 10% discount off any additional courses.

WHAT IS INCLUDED PADI OPEN WATER LEMBONGAN?
PADI OPEN WATER LEMBONGAN EQUIPMENT
The gear is part of the fun of scuba diving. Here at Legend Diving, you will be able to rent all the gear you need during your course. However, it is recommended that you eventually own your own. The essential remains over 3 items: Mask, snorkel, and fins. Compact and light, you should be able to travel with this minimum equipment towards all destinations.
We can help you choose the diving equipment that you need. With this intention, you’ll learn how to use the following gears:
- a BCD (Buoyancy Control Device) allowing you once worn to establish neutral buoyancy while underwater and positive buoyancy on the surface.
- a Regulator that you will use in order to breathe underwater.
- a Dive computer allowing you to continuously inform you how much dive time you safely have remaining.
- a Diving Cylinder to store and provide your breathing gas.
- a Wet suit to protect your skin and maintain your body temperature.
All in all, It is best to eventually have your own equipment as you will learn to be familiar with it.

PADI SCUBA DIVER UPGRADE
As a PADI Scuba Diver, you may upgrade to become an Open Water Diver by completing the following tasks. A surface swim, two additional knowledge development sections, two confined water sessions, two open water dives, and an exam. You will be able to complete the upgrade in 1.5 days.
Day 1
You will start your course by watching videos and completing knowledge reviews. This is done through self-study. However, should you have any questions do not hesitate to ask your instructor. Furthermore, it can also be done online through your own device. We’ll help you create a PADI account for access.
Next, you’ll spend the rest of the day doing confined pool sessions with your instructor. This is time to demonstrate the additional skills needed to become an Open Water Diver.
Day 2
