Why Signing Up a Padi Open Water Lembongan?

The PADI Open Water Lembongan Diver Course will certify you to dive all around the world up to a maximum depth of 18m. Come and learn how to dive! You will be able to experience unparalleled adventures and see the world beneath the waves. Completing your PADI

Open Water Diver Course at Legend Diving Lembongan is where it starts. Don’t miss our Conservation Add-on if you want to become an ocean warrior.

Getting SCUBA certified will open you up to a whole new world of possibilities. Firstly, you’ll get to explore the underwater world. Water occupies more than 70% of the Earth, yet most people never see what lurks below! You can be one of the special few. Also, it is a great stress-relieving activity. Diving below takes you away from the environment you are so used to. This also takes away your stresses from the surface world! Many people say the best thing about diving is the silence.

You’ll be able to see many marine creatures you have seen at the aquarium. Furthermore, you’ll definitely meet many you never even knew existed. Diving is also a great social activity! Although you won’t be talking underwater, you will definitely meet many friends. People all over the world bond over their love of the underwater world, so you will build beautiful memories together. Additionally, this is a great way to test your limits: many who dive come out more confident in their abilities. There is a lot to learn and many stages of progression. The PADI Open Water Diver is just your first step!

You still have some questions?

Padi Open Water Lembongan FAQ

Diving is possible anywhere there’s water. This includes the pool, quarries, lakes, and the ocean. Where you can SCUBA dive is also determined by your experience, certifications, access, and interests

While snorkeling or diving to the bottom of a pool, you might feel discomfort in your ears. This is completely normal. It is caused by water pressure pressing in on your eardrums. However, you can easily deal with this with some quick training. If you don’t have issue when you fly, then you will be fine when diving.

History of ear troubles, diabetes, asthma, allergies or smoking won’t necessarily disqualify you from diving. You can consult with your doctor on any prior issues. Furthermore, they can work with the Divers Alert Network for further information.

Absolutely. Your instructor at Legend Diving will help you review your scuba skills in our in-house pool. Feel free to ask any questions!

The most common issues are seasickness, dehydration, and sunburn. These are all very easily preventable. Furthermore, scrapes and stings may occur. However, your wetsuit can help prevent this. SCUBA diving is generally a very safe adventure sport.

You will be lucky to see a shark! Incidents with sharks are incredibly rare. Sharks are generally not aggressive and do not see you as food.

Diving is not advised if you are pregnant. Menstruation is not normally a concern.

The limit for recreational SCUBA diving is 40 meters/130 feet. As an Open Water Diver, you will be certified to go till 18 meters/60 feet.

There is an indicator that shows you how much air you will have. Furthermore, you’ll be taught to check it regularly. We always leave the dive with plenty of air still left in the tank. In addition, in the unlikely event of you running out of air – you can share air with your buddy. We are all equipped with an extra second stage.

Your instructor will give you plenty of time to get comfortable. Extensive sessions in the pool will be done at your own pace. This will prepare you for your ocean dives.

You can use certifications from other organizations as a prerequisite for the next level of PADI course. For example, an Open Water Diver certification from one organization can be used towards the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
