Under the mentorship of your dive instructors, you will receive constant feedback and guidance. Be prepared to ask many questions, especially on areas you are interested in. It is our goal that you come out of this Divemaster course with refined skills, such as recognizing fish species and understanding of current.

3 Vital Components of the Divemaster Course

The PADI Divemaster manual has nine chapters that you will review with our PADI Instructors during classroom sessions. You’ll be subject to a number of multimedia presentations and exercises.

Much of this will be done in our pool. You’ll master the 24 PADI skills, as well as complete your swim tests. Portions of this may be done in open water, such as the rescue scenario. Make sure you brush up on your Rescue course!

This includes managing dive activities, conducting Divemaster-authorized PADI programs, and assisting PADI Instructors in courses. Throughout all this, you are expected to demonstrate a professional attitude in your day to day activities.

You’ll be able to take advantage of our world class facilities during your Divemaster course Indonesia. We have two air-conditioned classrooms, a large in-house swimming pool, and a bar/relax area.

We aim to keep our dive center clean and organized as we believe this invokes confidence in our guests. Furthermore, we try our best to provide the best possible customer service. This includes setting up guest equipment and accommodating any special requests.

You will passively assist our professional Divemasters and Instructors. During this time, you will slowly get introduced to the daily routine of Legend Diving Lembongan.

you will become part of our dive trips to start learning our many beautiful dive sites. You’ll get to know our procedures and our purpose behind the way we are doing. Moreover, you’ll get acclimated with your mentors. Their insights will be a crucial part of your divemaster journey.

Up to Divemaster

FOLLOWING WEEKS WE GUIDE YOU

On your second week of training, you will get introduced to the requirements of your Divemaster course and work more closely with the instructor team and Mentors. Furthermore, you will participate

in PADI skill circuits, meaning getting in-depth Knowledge Development Sessions. As a matter of time, you will begin doing several practical applications of your Divemaster course. As a result, you already piled up a good deal of dives. By now you should feel comfortable with Legend Diving logistics and the dive sites.

TIME FOR US TO WATCH YOU

It’s your last week of the course and hopefully you have already ticked many from the necessary prerequisites of the Divemaster course. It’s now time to get back to the daily routine of the dive center but this time

with the knowledge and confidence to take an active role on the daily activities. We  expect you to take an active role in organizing dive trips, giving dive briefings, supervising certified divers underwater, and pointing out marine life to your guests. As your training wraps up, we’ll assess your professionalism.

9:00- All aboard one of our two fast boats! Off we go to Manta Point for the day. The journey will take 45 minutes (it’s our farthest dive site, the north of Penida usually takes just 15 minutes). Use this time to connect with the guests- we have interesting people that come from all over the world!

9:45- Arrive at Manta Point. Get your gear on and let’s go! Dive with the majestic Manta rays and marvel at their beauty.

10:45- Finish diving! After that, you’ll enjoy a one-hour surface break before the next dive. Enjoy some fruit, coffee, tea, and talk about that amazing first dive.

12:00- Let’s get in the water again! It’s a 20-minute ride to Crystal Bay. This is the site with some of the most consistent Mola sightings.

12:45- Finish diving. Wow, that Mola was huge! Time to return to the shop. This will take around 30 minutes.

Welcome Back to Nusa Lembongan!

1:15- You will now help the Legend staff unload the boat and wash equipment. Once you’re back at the shop you’ll also sit with the guests to fill in their logbooks. Time to show off your Fish ID skills here!

2:00- Usually now you’ll take a break and see if you have any activities left in the day. You may have some pool or classroom sessions scheduled, or perhaps compressor duties. If you’ve wrapped up for the day, feel free to run off and and explore Lembongan! Go grab a beer and some delicious local food with your fellow Divemaster candidates.

The best way to prepare is to review your Open Water, Advanced, and Rescue textbook. Plus, you’ll have access to online self-study materials, making it easy to revisit topics anytime during your course.

We understand that certain circumstances may prevent you from finishing your course. We will provide a refund for the portion of the course that is unused.

This is a hard no. Legend Diving believes that your foremost priority should be your education. An instructor will be with you every step on your progress and nurture you into the best Divemaster you can be. Whether you are guiding dives, helping out students in the pool, or just unloading the boat, an instructor will be there guiding you. The legal responsibility will always rest on the instructor as well

We run Divemaster courses all year round. To confirm your booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of 40% of your course. You can pay through credit card online with a 3% fee. With the remaining payment, you can pay in cash or credit card with a 3% fee

We do not have any fixed days offset for your course. However, we aim to provide 1 per week. If you have any special requests, we are flexible in accomodating them. Just let us know in advance!

There is lunch provided every day on the boat. We serve a traditional Indonesian lunch – the nasi goreng is usually a big hit. We are also able to accommodate for any vegetarians upon request.

You can start working as a Divemaster when PADI processes your certification. This usually just takes a few days. Afterward, you will be free to live the dream life of a dive professional.

Be prepared to guide and assist divers, helping them get the most out of each tank! Teaching Scuba Review and Skin Diver courses will also be a big plus. Legend Diving will be happy to assist in preparing your CV to help you get your dream job.

We did six fun dives with Legend Diving and they were all amazing! We were in good hands with divemaster Gede. The quality of the rental equipment was good, the vibes and the lunch on the boat were great and the dive sites were really nice! Clear and quick communication and it was nice that we could pay through Wise. We could even request specific dive sites. Would recommend!

I completed my divemaster program in April/May 2023 with Myra and Julio. Out of all of the places in Lembongan/Bali, this one is by far the best simply because of these two instructors. They offer a perfect balance of sharing their time and knowledge with you, while also allowing you to “figure it out”. You’ll learn theory beyond what’s in the PADI coursework so you have the background to understand why things are taught/practiced the way they are. They also teach in a way that makes it easy to transition to an IDC if that’s the route they inspire you to go. The facility itself is situated on the beautiful island of Nusa Lembongan with very cheap accommodation and delicious food all around. The conditions that Indonesia offers are the best place to learn, build your skills, and meet new people from all over the world. Currents that rip through the Indonesian Flow Through will challenge your diving skills, as well as the customers that come through the area will help you learn how to handle difficult situations. 10/10 I recommend this program with Myra and Julio to anyone who is interested in truly learning the necessary skills to become a diving professional and really challenge themselves. You will complete the program with confidence and pride.
