You’ll be certified to guide certified divers, making sure they get the most out of each tank by proper navigation, planning, and showing them where the cool stuff is! It is our goal that you come out of this Divemaster course with refined skills, such as fish identification and understanding of current.

3 main parts of your Divemaster Program

The PADI Divemaster manual has nine chapters that you will review with our PADI Instructors during classroom sessions. You’ll be subject to a number of multimedia presentations and exercises.

Much of this will be done in our pool. You’ll master the 24 PADI skills, as well as complete your swim tests. Portions of this may be done in open water, such as the rescue scenario. Make sure you brush up on your Rescue course!

This includes managing dive activities, conducting Divemaster-authorized PADI programs, and assisting PADI Instructors in courses. Throughout all this, you are expected to demonstrate a professional attitude in your day to day activities.

You’ll be able to take advantage of our world class facilities during your Divemaster course Indonesia. We have two air-conditioned classrooms, a large in-house swimming pool, and a bar/relax area.

You will passively assist our professional Divemasters and Instructors. During this time, you will slowly get introduced to the daily routine of Legend Diving Lembongan.

You will join our dive trips to start learning our many beautiful dive sites. You’ll get to know our procedures and why we do it the way we do. Additionally, you’ll get acclimated with your mentors. Their knowledge and experience will be very valuable to you during this time.

Up to Divemaster

FOLLOWING WEEKS WE TEACH YOU

On your second week of training, you will get introduced to the requirements of your Divemaster course and work more closely with the instructor team and Mentor. Furthermore, you will participate

in PADI skill circuits, meaning get in-depth Knowledge Development Sessions. As a matter of time, you will start doing several practical applications of your Divemaster course. As a result, you already piled up a good deal of dives. By now you should feel comfortable with Legend Diving logistics and the dive sites.

Getting ready

TIME FOR US TO WATCH YOU

It’s your last week of the course and hopefully you have already ticked many of the requirements of the divemaster course. It’s now time to get back to the daily routine of the dive center but this time

with the knowledge and confidence to take an active role on the daily activities. We expect you to be actively involved in the organization of the dive trips, be able to do a dive briefings, supervise certified divers underwater and show some marine life to our guests. As your training is reaching its end, we will evaluate your professionalism.

7:30-Arrive the dive center an hour before guests. Here you will work with the Legend staff on checking the equipment, loading and setting up the boats. You may also receive a pre-briefing from your mentors during this time on what you will do for the rest of the day.

8:30- Guests will arrive. Welcome them to Legend Diving and help them try on equipment if they haven’t already. You may also give the dive briefing depending how far along you are in your course.

9:00- All aboard one of our two fast boats! Off we go to Manta Point for the day. The journey will take 45 minutes (it’s our farthest dive site, the north of Penida usually takes just 15 minutes). Take this time to socialize with the guests- we have interesting people that come from all over the world!

9:45- Arrive at Manta Point. Get your gear on and let’s go! Dive with the majestic Manta rays and marvel at their beauty.

10:45- Finish diving! We will then have an hour-long surface interval before your second dive. Enjoy some fruit, coffee, tea, and talk about that amazing first dive.

12:00- Let’s get in the water again! It’s a 20-minute ride to Crystal Bay. This is the site with some of the most consistent Mola sightings.

12:45- Finish diving. Wow, that Mola was huge! Time to head back to the shop. This will take around 30 minutes.

Welcome Back to Nusa Lembongan!

1:15- You will now help the Legend staff unload the boat and wash equipment. Once you’re back at the dive center you’ll also sit with the guests to fill in their logbooks. Time to show off your Fish ID skills here!

2:00- Usually now you’ll take a break and see if you have any activities left in the day. You may have some pool or classroom sessions scheduled, or perhaps compressor duties. If you don’t have anything left in the day, feel free to run off and explore the island! Go grab a beer and some delicious local food with your fellow Divemaster candidates.
